We want to help build a better future by directing our money to companies that are taking action and committing to our shared vision for the future. Companies that want to do and be better. Investing in companies that we believe in is more important now than ever.
Good Capital was founded on the belief that investing responsibly makes economic sense and that it’s the right thing to do. We’re on a mission to help purpose-driven individuals and families feel more confident about their finances, while aligning their money with their values. We’re continuously reevaluating the work that we’re doing and whether or not it aligns with our values. We’ve had to grapple with entrenched ideas such as the unquestioned need to drive profits and revenue. Our personal goal for Good Capital isn’t just to grow indefinitely. What’s more important to us is giving back to our communities and creating lasting change that can benefit everyone in more ways than simply hoarding wealth.
Is what we’re doing perfect? No. Are we ultimately supporting existing capitalist structures that were built on exploitation, racism, and oppression? Sadly yes, but we believe that we can create change from within and that we can direct our company’s and our personal wealth and power in a constructive way. We’re here to fight for our values and fight for a more equitable and just society for us all. Here’s what we’re doing:

Engage with companies and work with them to make changes.

Hiring
With an employee count of two, we are a BIPOC, woman-owned business. As we grow, we’ll strive to continue to be representative of our population.
We promise to continue educating ourselves, learning, and better understanding how we can create more good in the world for all beings. We are working hard to hold companies accountable and embody the change that we all want to see. We encourage you to do the same. As investors and consumers, we all have immense power to vote with our dollars. Support black-owned businesses. Invest responsibly. It’s a choice that we can all make. Each of us has the power to influence corporations, industries, and policies. Together we can create a real and lasting impact on society and on our world.
